There are just a few days before the Chinese Valentine's Day! Do you have any plans for a self-driving tour? "The Lovers' Sea" in Jinchuan National Forest Park may be a good place to have a date!
"The Lovers' Sea" is actuallya huge lake located at Maori, a small town in Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Ngawa, Sichuan. The place is about 3,800 meters above sea level.
The lake is inlayed like green jade in the valleys, surrounded by spruce, Juniperus squamata and other plants growing in pairs. In the ancient tales, the lake is made up by the tears of lovers when they miss each other. That's the origin of its name. Near the lake, there is a small stockaded village called "the Lovers' Village". People here live in peace, feeding on the herds. They guard the other-worldly wonderland with beautiful views and nice weather generation by generation.
