西洽会是中国西部地区的国家级、国际性盛会，是国家在西部地区的对外交流平台、贸易合作平台和投资促进平台，也是推动国际国内合作的重要载体，是西部地区展示形象、扩大对外开放合作的重要窗口。

TheWCIFITis a national-level and world-oriented gathering, an important international exchange platform, a trade cooperation platform and an investment promotion platform in the western regiontopropel international and domestic cooperation, present the image of western region to the outside world, and expand the regional opening-up and cooperation with the outside world.

本届西洽会由商务部、水利部、国务院国资委、中国侨联、中国贸促会和重庆市人民政府共同主办，以“走进西部、洽谈未来”为主题，采取“专题展会+高峰论坛+投资贸易活动”、线上线下相结合的形式举办，邀请墨西哥担任主宾国，四川省、宁夏回族自治区担任主宾省。期间将举行开幕式暨2022陆海新通道国际合作论坛等8个会议、论坛，以及重大项目签约等7个系列投资贸易活动。

With the theme of "Joining Hands with the West for a Brighter Future", thefourthWCIFIT,co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Water Resources, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chongqing Municipal People's Government, will be held through online and offline including conferences, forums and theme activities, and will invite the Mexico toact as the guest country of honor, andSichuan Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as the guest province of honor. During the fair, 8 conferences and forums will be held, including the opening ceremony of the WCIFITand the 2022 CCI-ILSTC Forum, as well as 7 series of investment and trade activities.

据介绍，本届西洽会设置投资贸易和产业促进两大展区，共12个展馆，预计展览规模达到16万平方米，并将同步在西洽会官网、官微设置线上展馆。

Covering anestimatedtotal exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, this year's WCIFIT sets up two exhibition areas of investment and trade and industrial promotion, includinga total of 12 exhibitionhalls suchasthe Chongqing Exhibition Hall, the International Cooperation Exhibition Hall, the Provincial, Autonomous Region and Municipal Cooperation Exhibition Hall, the Modern Manufacturing Exhibition Hall, the Modern Service Exhibition Hall, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Construction Exhibition Hall, etc.
