There are nearly 20,000 species of butterflies recorded in the world. Most of them wear colorful "coats", but the world in the eyes of butterflies is colorless. According to research, the eyes of butterflies can only see black and white. They are sensitive to light, and when exposed to ultraviolet light, butterflies are more sensitive to white, red, blue, and yellow objects.
Among the various butterfly species, there is a kind of "handsome guy" wearing a yellowish coat, called Sephisa princeps, which belongs to the genus Sephisa in the family Nymphalidae. They have a bright yellow color and are medium to large sized butterflies.They like to suck the moisture of decomposed fruits or wetlands. They are distributed in many places in China.
Except for the color, the Sephisa princepsis similar to other nymphalid butterflies, but the male butterfly has black wings, and all the spots are orange without white spots (which are common on nymphalid butterflies). There are two orange spots in the interior of the forewing, and the other spots are white.
