Liang Yuan, who graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a PhD in economics, is now an associate professor at the School of Economics and Management of UESTC. In 2016, she won the award of the third "My Favorite teacher" of UESTC. At the beginning of 2022, her lecture "Introduction to Economics" was selected as the Core General Courses demonstration course of UESTC. She is also the leading lecturer of Economics in the National Elite Open Online course. Over the years, she has taught thousands of students at the undergraduate, graduate, MBA, and IMBA, becoming a popular economics teacher. Outside the university, Liang is the founder of a fight club. Boxing in the ringhas become an indispensable part of Liang Yuan's life.

At first, she just wanted her child to learn some practical self-defense skills. She fell in love with Thai boxing because it made her healthier, more beautiful and more confident. To learn more, Liang Yuan went to Thailand, personally selected an excellent coach team, and set up a club. She wanted to let more people come together because of Muay Thai, communicate with each other and grow up together. The experience of establishing the club enables her to have more cases in economics classes and bring more practical economic principles to students. It also allows her to get out of the ivory tower and understand all aspects of life. She feels that her life has become more colorful because of Muay Thai.
