The yuhina diademata, or white-collared Yuhina, has a brown head and crest. The white feathers at the end of its eyes extend sideways to the eyes and down to the nape and sides of the neck. In this way, a white-collar collar is formed at its neck, which is extremely eye-catching.

The yuhina diadematais a kind of “budget bird”.

First of all, they are not picky about food and shelter. Among the branches and leaves of the tree canopy, young trees under the forest, tall shrubs, bamboo bushes, grasses... these can be placeswhere they move and forage; insects, plant fruits, and seeds can be their "dishes".

Secondly, they willnot be "fussy" about nesting if the nest is comfortable and stable. They usually nest in mountain forests and hillside thickets at an altitude of 1200-2700 meters, and also nest in tea plantations. The nest is cup-shaped. The outer layeris mainly moss; the middle layer is composed of withered grass, dead leaves and fine roots; and the inner layer is padded with materials such as brown silk, fine grass stems, grass roots and fibrous roots, and tied to the branches with fibrous roots.

Finally, they lay two to three eggs per clutch. After careful rearing, the offspring have a high survival rate.
