Liu Jieyu is a bass player in the band monkey legion, a rap rock band based in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and is also a college teacher specializing in bass. He has been in love with music for more than 20 years since he first learned music when he was 2 years old and decided to learn bass in junior high school. If you ask him what ups and downs, he will scratch his dreadlocks and say: "OK! It is hard to make music, but if you do it, it will be solved."

In addition to being a bass player in the band, Yu yu is also a bass teacher and stage director at a Live House. Work, rehearsals, classes, performances... Music occupies most of the time in Liu's life. Although Liu and his wife only have one or two hours a day together, the wife whom he met and fell in love with through music is the strongest support in the music world and always accompanies him no matter how difficult the situation is.

In the world of music, Liu prefers restless and wild rock and roll. Every rehearsal or performance, he always puts himself into it very much. But when the lights went down and he returned to life, he was surprisingly quiet and humorous, practicing the piano, reading books, walking the dog, quieting his ears and satisfying himself with the wind. He loves mountains and rivers and prefers simple life. So when asked what he would do if he stopped making music one day, he replied, "Actually, I would like to be a farmer."

It is very difficult to make music, and this is the most important experience that Liu Jieyu has had playing in a band for more than ten years.
