We love eating and so do birds. There is a bird whose beak can't even close from sucking snails for so long.

That is the foodie in birds, Asian Openbill. Its bill is always slightly open and can never close tightly, just like a pair of pincers convenient for feeding on snails and ideal for picking molluscs out of their shells.

However, it is not born with such a peculiar beak. Its bill closes tight like a normal bird when it is young, but the shape slowly changes and grows into the beak we see today.
