Huanglongxi town is known as the land of the “fire dragon” performance, a form of folk art in China. The town's economy relies heavily on tourism, trade and services.
Huanglongxi is a provincial-level scenic spot which has become a famous film and photography base, owing to its rich natural and cultural resources, beautiful scenery, and enjoyable environment.
The ancient town is characterized by its old streets, trees, temples, a land and water transport hub, ancient buildings and folk customs.
