China's Mega Project: Natural Gas Production

The annual natural gas production ranks first in China. 1/3 of natural gas is output to cities and factories outside the province every year to build gas bases with a capacity of 100 billion cubic meters. It was written into the Planning Outline For the Construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. Sichuan and Chongqing in constructing a UGS cluster with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters. After completion, the gas storage capacity will reach 10 billion cubic meters, covering the residential natural gas consumption of nearly 300 million people for one year.
