Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve: the paradise for wildlife

    Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve, located in the northeast of Minshan mountain, is a paradise for giant pandas, takins, snub-nosed monkeys, and other wild animals.

    Tangjiahe area had been the refuge of giant pandas, Chinese dove trees, and other creatures in the quaternary glacial activity period. With a great altitude difference, it owns diversified animals and plants.

    From April to May, the gnus come here to seek food. In summer and autumn, the black bears come to collect fruits in the valleys. And in winter when the black bears are hibernation, giant pandas can been seen here.

    What's more, Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve has a profound cultural foundation. It was a critical site for battles in the ancient time.
