Tie Mountain: the iron-like stone mountain
 

In the western Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, there's a mountain formed by iron-like stones. Therefore, it's called Tie Mountain (Iron Mountain).

Located in the subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest belt, Tie Mountain has lots of forests and a modest climate. There're also diversified animals and plants here, including pines, cypresses, yewtrees, camphortrees, wintersweet flowers, rhododendron flowers, as well as pangolins, red belly chickens, etc.

What's more, Tie Mountain has a profound history. There are a great number of ancient passes, road, stockaded villages, etc. Besides, it was an important military site in the ancient time.
