Kongshan Forest Park: a foggy basin
 

Kongshan Basin, located in Kongshan Town, Tongjiang County, Bazhong City, is the biggest high mountain basin in Qinling-Daba Mountain Area. The fog always lingers on the bottom of the basin. When the sunshine meets the fog, the basin becomes a fairy land.

There are four peaks on the center of the basin. One of them is of 120 meters high. There are aged-pines and karst caves on it. Another is of 140 meters high, covered with thorns.

Water is the motive power of the karst landform. The fluvial erosion leads to a magnificent karst gorge at the edge of Kongshan Basin.
