Xianren Lake: a perfect destination for health-keeping and travelling
 

Xianren Lake is an artificial lake of 0.84 square meters built based on the Hongqi Reservoir, a middle-sized water conservancy project. It's surrounded by mountains and has a beautiful scenery. White storks, egrets, wild ducks and other water birds live here. It's a perfect destination for health-keeping and travelling.

Five miles to the lake there lies a Xianren Cave which is of three meters high and four meters wide. There's a stream in the cave. According to the local legend, a Taoist priest in the ancient time cultivated himself here and become an immortal. When the stream in the cave was imported into the Hongqi Reservoir, people started to call the lake "Xianren (immortal)"Lake.
