Huaxi Valley: the fairy land

Located in Jinxing Township, Dayi County, 70 kilometers from downtown Chengdu, Huaxi Valley was officially listed as a national 4A-level scenic spot in January 2018.

The average temperature here in summer is 6-8 degrees Celsius lower than that of Chengdu, and it is an ecological tourism resort integrating leisure tourism, outdoor sports, green catering, ecological breeding, flower cultivation and sightseeing.

Also, Huaxi Valley is famous for its flowers. There are flowers to be appreciated all year round, and the species of flowers vary according to the seasons. In spring, tulips, rhododendrons and begonias are the main flowers to be enjoyed. In summer, there are hydrangeas, moonflowers and verbena flowers. In autumn, red maples and lilies play the main roles, while in winter, wax plums and red plums are waiting for you.
