Siguniang Mountain is located at the junction of the first and second terraces of Chinese landforms and is famous for its majestic and uprightness. The name of the scenic spot originates from a local legend about four girls who fought against the devil.

The main attractions of Siguniang Mountain consist of three mountain gorges and four snowy peaks. Its main peak, YaomeiPeak, 6250 meters above sea level, is the second highest peak in Sichuan, and is also known as "Queen of Shu mountain".

There are 85 snow peaks above 5,000 meters above sea level, snow all year round, and modern mountain glaciers are developed here. The foothills are densely forested, with green grass and clear streams that flow incessantly, just like the beautiful European Alps, so it is also called the "Alps of the East".
