Gaoshiti Forest Park in Rongxian County: A Place of Forest and Grassland Landscape

Located in Wang village, Tiechang Town, Rong County, Zigong City, Gaoshiti Forest Park is famous for nursing and summer-heat avoiding. With a coverage of 182.13 hectares, it was assessed as a provincial forest park in 1993, and was honored “China’s Forest Health Preservation Base”in 2019.

There are over 30 unique mountains, verdant forests, and various kinds of wild animals and plants in Gaoshiti Forest Park. The fresh air, fragrant flowers, dense negative oxygen ion and comfortable temperature are good for health and can relax the visitors.

The park is full of hills, rocks, mountains, valley and streams, and is featured with unique landform and well-grown natural secondary forest. With subtropical monsoon climate, it’s warm and moist, a perfect home for plants and animals.
