Delphinium Caeruleum: The "Smurfs" on The Highland
 

The elegant and beautiful Delphiniumcaeruleums are the representative blue flowers on the highland. There're over 100 types of Delphiniumin China, distributing on the high mountains in western Sichuan, northern Yunnan and eastern Tibet.

People can find Delphiniumcaeruleums in western Sichuan plateau. With thin and tall stalks, the flowers jump along the wind, looking like a group of "smurfs".

Delphiniumcaeruleums grow in sandy soil with good drainage and air permeability. The sticky soil will harm the plants' growth. Besides, they prefer sunshine, but should be avoid from the heat.
