Sichuan cuisine is mainly distinguished and remembered for the spicy flavour but it is not all about spicy. Because Sichuan cuisine is incredibly diverse, as the phrase emphasizes “yi cai yi ge, bai cai bai wei”, which means that each dish has its own style and a hundred dishes have a hundred tastes.
Baima Chicken Soup, originated from Baima Village in Luzhou City, is one of famous Sichuan soups because of its clear consommé, soft black chicken, mellow taste, and high nutrition. It is said that it is a perfect tonic for postpartum woman as a traditional custom in Luzhou.
