Sichuan International Friendship Cities opened!

2月15日，四川国际友城馆揭牌仪式在成都举行。据悉，四川国际友城馆是由省委外办牵头规划建设的国内首家省级国际友城馆。展馆位于成都高新区商业金融核心区域，实际规划使用面积近2000平方米。

On February 15, Unveiling Ceremony of SichuanInternationalFriendship Cities was held in Chengdu. It is reported that itis the first provincial-level internationalfriendship cities in China. And it is located in the core financial area of Chengdu High-tech Development Zone, with a planning area of nearly 2,000 square meters.

馆内包含功能区和展览区两个部分，功能区主要用于会见外宾，以及举办相关活动。而展览区则是由序厅、四川厅、港澳厅、友城厅和尾厅五个部分组成，呈回字形动线，展现在有限空间内，国际友城“无界交流”。

Sichuan International Friendship Cities contains two parts: the functional area, which is mainly used for meeting foreign guests and holding related activities respectively, and the exhibition area, which is composed of five parts: the Preface, Sichuan Chapter, Chapter of Hong Kong and Macao, Chapter of Friendship Cities and the Closing Chapter, in a zigzag pattern, showing the "borderless exchange" of international friendships in this limited space.

四川厅集中展现了四川对外开放的成果，通过时间轴和照片墙，记录着四川融入国际的每一步历史足迹和精彩瞬间。

Sichuan Chapter concentrates on the achievements of Sichuan's opening to the world, through the timeline and photo wall, recording every step of Sichuan's integration into international history and wonderful moments.

在港澳厅，人们可以感受港澳的发展和川港澳之间的交流合作。厅内立有黄羊雕塑，见证了香港各界扶贫促进会通过借羊还羊的方式，帮助了南江县1000多户贫困户脱贫。此外，厅内的互动打卡区和沉浸式碗幕投影能让人们置身香港街头，身临其境感受当地风土人情。

In the Chapter of Hong Kong and Macau, people can feelthe development of Hong Kong and Macau as well as their cooperation with Sichuan. There is a sculpture of a yellow sheep in the hall, symbolizing that the Hong Kong Poverty Alleviation Association Limited has helped more than 1,000 poor households in Nanjiang County to get rid of poverty through the loan of sheep. In addition, the interactive area and globalscreenprojective system can make people feel like being Hong Kong, and provide immersive experience of the local customs and traditions.

友城厅包含亚洲、欧亚、欧洲、非洲、美洲、大洋洲6个部分，全方面地展现了四川遍及全球的“朋友圈”。展厅根据各国各友城不同的风格进行布展，体现了当地独特的人文风情，并集中展现了四川与世界各友城的交往成果。

The Chapter of Friendship Cities contains six parts including Asia, Eurasia, Europe, Africa, America and Oceania, showing the full range of Sichuan's relationship throughout the world. The halls were built according to the different styles of each city, showingthe unique local humanities, as well as the achievements of friendship city interaction between Sichuan and the world.

“四川在对外开放方面做出的努力令人印象深刻。”一边参观四川国际友城馆，奥地利驻成都总领事雷君山一边拿出手机拍照留念。“疫情防控政策调整后，两地的交流合作更加方便了，期待未来有更广阔的空间。”

"It’s very impressive to see how much Sichuan was paying attention to friendship relations in the past already," Günther Lazelsberger, Consul General of the Republic of Austria in Chengdu,said,"now, we can intensify our people-to-people and face-to-face communication. Even though we have good relations already, there’s always some room to improve."

对此，智利驻成都总领事迪亚兹也同感，表示希望智利与四川在基础设施建设、现代化农业以及锂电池等新能源领域展开合作。

Consul General of Chile in Chengdu Gustavo Díaz Hidalgo said that he expects to expand the cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure, lithium industry and all the other areas with Sichuan.

目前，四川已建立440对国际友城和友好合作关系，友城布局实现洲际全覆盖，友城数量位居中西部首位、全国前列。遍布全球的“朋友圈”，给四川带来了跨越时间与空间的友谊，也带来了携手合作与发展的机遇。

Presently, Sichuan has built friendly relationshipswith 440 international cities coveringthe five continents, ranking the first in Central and Western China, and the frontin China. The friendship with the world has brought more opportunities to Sichuan.
