Opening Ceremony of the 8th China (Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference

On Nov. 10th, the Opening Ceremony of the 8th China(Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference was held in the main venue of Langzhong, Nanchong, Sichuan. The conference also established branch venues in 21 cities(prefectures) in Sichuan. 1,500 domestic and foreignguests from culturaland tourism investment enterprises and travel agencies joined this event online.

Peter Simon, president of the Pacific Asia Travel Associationaddressed online via video link, and Guido Brettschneider, CEO of Tui GroupChina, introduced "Anyi Sichuan" through video.

At conference, a total of 185.2 billion yuan of contracts of 150 significant cultural and tourism projects from all cities and prefectures in Sichuan were signed, including the "Window of Deyang City" Historical and Cultural Corridor from Deyang city, Luozu Sacred Land from Mianyang city, etc.

Meanwhile, key cultural and tourism investment projects in Sichuan were introduced to the audience, and the 2022 investmentguidance on key cultural and tourism projects was also released with its focus on 10 new forms of tourism such as digital culture and tourism, nighttime culture and tourism, and immersive tourism performances. The conference also launched 100 key projects, 213 project lists, with a total investment of 515.29 billion yuan, among which 30 of the key projects are worth more than 5 billion yuan while 173 more than 1 billion.
