刘润老家在四川省内江市资中县归德镇，在这个人数不到3万人的小镇上，刘润每天早晨起床，在去菜市场的路上、去发廊的途中、取快递的道上，沿途都会搜寻哪些人适合用来化妆“改造”。

Liu Run was born in Guide Town, Zizhong County, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, a town with no more than 30000 residents. When she gets up in the morning, on her way to the vegetable market, hair salon, and delivery station, she detects her possible models among the passers-by.

一开始，村里人对刘润的行为大为不解。面对大家的质疑、不愿意配合，刘润并没有灰心丧气：有些阿姨看起来不愿意，但又对她的化妆品很好奇，或者看似挑剔又不好意思地说“我上镜不好看”之类的话。“一般这种就有戏”。

At first, the villagers didn’t understand her. She didn't give up on those doubts and disagreements. 在上妆前，刘润喜欢打量对方的基本五官特色，通过和对方聊天，把握对方的性格和喜好。“其实很多人并不知道自己喜欢和适合什么妆容，这时我就会提供多个方案。”

渐渐地，有村民开始主动找刘润化妆。“村里的女性一般比较腼腆。”刘润说，但是当自己为她们化妆以后，有些人会很兴奋一直照镜子;有些人会拿手机自拍，把照片和小视频分享到朋友圈。“其实大家还是喜欢生活中偶尔有些仪式感的美好。”

刘润做乡村美妆博主源于她的母亲。一次尝试为母亲上妆让刘润想到：这种化妆方式或许也可以给全村女性带来不一样的体验，把这个过程拍下来应该很有意思。

Liu Run's idea of being a rural makeup vlogger was derived from her mother. When she was putting on the makeup for her mother, it occurred to her that makeup may change all the village ladies and it should be interesting to record it.

2019年底，刘润从成都回到老家，拍摄乡村美妆视频，她想陪着外婆，过家人都在身边的日子。
