"No one can break China and me apart." Before the performance began, the artists spontaneously dedicated a song, "Me and My Motherland," to Mr. Shunyang Cai, a 91-year-old returned overseas Chinese and former member of the Central Committee of Jiusan Society. Mr. Cai moved slowly and gently to the music, his eyes full of tears. "Returning to China was the best thing I ever did!" The rapid development of China over the past 60 years has made Mr. Cai proud and determined.
