Team competitions in the Chengdu World Table Tennis Championships, which lasted for 10 days, officially came to an end on Sunday. According to the official Weibo account of Chengdu Radio and Television, Chengdu Focus, the competition committee organized a "Bring Chengdu Home" shopping event before the athletes returned home.

China's General Administration of Customs said the country's exports of electric blankets and electric heaters skyrocketed 97 percent and 23 percent year-on-year, respectively, in the first seven months, given that European consumers are expanding their purchases of heating appliances ahead of the coming winter.
